After the application deadline, we conduct personal interviews with selected candidates.

If you've convinced us, you'll receive an offer, and your apprenticeship at WILCO can begin in the summer.

Apprenticeship Programs

Polymechanic EFZ

During their apprenticeship, polymechanics learn how to manufacture mechanical components, set up machines, and monitor precise production processes. They program and operate CNC machines and carry out assembly and maintenance work on technical systems.

Mechanical Engineer EFZ

During their training, design engineers create technical drawings and 3D models and develop components or assemblies according to customer requirements. They calculate dimensions, select suitable materials, and work closely with production and development teams.

Automation Technician EFZ

Automation technicians learn how to plan, wire, and commission electrical control systems and automation solutions. They program control systems, systematically troubleshoot faults, and carry out repairs and maintenance on equipment.

Apprenticeship in cooperation with libs

In collaboration with libs, we train automation technician apprentices:

  • 2 years of basic training at libs
  • 2 years of practical training at WILCO
